i think your best option even though you cant afford it right now, is to get some kind of barrel kit. something were you can get barrel to paint match. it will help with velocity, range, and accuracy.

there are four kits i would check out:

sleeved:
freak
scepter

two-piece:
pipe
j&j edge

the sleeved kits will be a better choice for use on more than one gun, but if you want a barrel to use on just one gun, i would buy a two-piece.

if you get a 32 degrees carbon fiber barrel (about 70 bucks) and shoot anarchy paint youll hit the mark every time

The best barrel for the money that I have purchased has been my BOA Snakebite. I love it to death. I shoot Anarchy through it without a problem. If you can find one, grab it.

I love my Equation MS Pro system to death. I guess I just like having a 7in barrel and stainless inserts.

if you want a kit, go with the freak. if you're on a tighter budget, i'd say, just like the others, go with an all-american. just don't get it from smartparts.com

OMG!!! Its one of you AGAIN!!!....get a good paint to barrel match...make sure the ball is touching in 3 places inside the barrel....you don't want it tight cause then it could pop/ take up a lot of air to push it...too loose then the ball will bonuce around and you will have no control...

...there is also effective barrel length...which is the length of the barrel that has no porting so it is still being pushed at the same rate untill it gets into the ported area which releases pressure and quites the shot...

12-14 inches is a good barrel length...anything larger you are just using that much more air to push the ball out of the barrel...

just go to www.webdogradio.com ...Tyger has movies on this stuff...jeez...its like you are asking what car is the best or what shoes are the best...ITS WHAT YOU PREFER AND YOUR STYLE...jeez...

NO barrel is more accurate than another. A looser fit seems to give more consistent velocity; where a tighter barrel seems to be more efficient. "Matching" your bore size to the paint size is a compromise between the two.

personally, i dont buy into the "multiple bore" barrels. i think it is all an ingeneous marketting ploy. i read a vrey interesting theory(i will try and dig it up) on this subject. i have owned a freak, AA, pmi ceramic, aradus, teardrop and cp. the only barrel i still have for the mag is the cp. i sold the rest, because they just didnt perform well enough for me. i have a cp for the mag, and a cp for the tribal, and i will not buy any more barrels.

I like the J&J Ceramic ones. Their very accurate and cheap too.

Actually, it's http://www.webdogradio.us/ not .com. Sorry folks.

Specific ot the thread, however, For "Accuracy" the vids you want to see are :

http://www.webdogradio.us/video/tipclip/WDR11hi.wmv Talking about what Renegade spoke of.

http://www.webdogradio.us/video/tipclip/WDR14hi.wmv If you want more range, demoed.

http://www.webdogradio.us/video/tipclip/WDR06.wmv
http://www.webdogradio.us/video/tipclip/WDR07-HI.wmv
http://www.webdogradio.us/video/tipclip/WDR09hi.wmv

Three vids of shooting drills. Thre's more stuff in the archives too. (http://www.webdogradio.us/video/tipclip/)

It's not .com tho, you'll stumble into the 'dead zone', as it were.

Well, I can tell you the next few weeks...

Next week's show is on being the last man in the game. We then hit up the Snake and a show on playing it. Then one on moving up the field. We also filmed a show on sweetspotting, one on practicing it, the other on avoiding being sweet spotted.

Yeah, we've been busy. :) The fun part was he battery ran outta juice on the last two shows. Thankfully, there's a "Manual" mode on e-mags, and I kept on filming. (Thanks Tom!!!!)

And you don't need to dance with each show, trust me, I can barely MOVE after some filming. :) (The snake show HURT... I forgot that the ground was SAND, hardpacked, and my knee pads shifted on the slide in... Ouch....)
