I'm getting a non over the valve Chord body next week. I need to have my detents and feedtube ready for it, so I can use it in a tournament next weekend.

So this is what I am thinking. I know the two detents and the feedtube will be in black.

I'm thinking this for the feed tube.

Or a WDP gated feedtube. Maybe if I can get one from a FLY Ir3 that would be sweet.

For the detents, I don't really have an idea. I'm thinking maybe just these

Nice and cheap, and you get three in a package. So what do you folks think? I'm going to try and get this stuff ordered by Friday.

There were a couple suggestions in this thread:

Gated feed is hot. If you can get a hold of the IR3 feed tube go for it.

The gated feed in nice (just had one put on my LCD, thanx TAG :D ), can't say that I notice a huge difference but it is lower than a std angel high-rise feed neck (but higher than a low rise, a mid rise if you may :p ).

As for detents, the stock ones are fine, but the shocktech and cobra detents are rebuildable and the shocktech is adjustable (main piece screws into the body and the detent and spring drop and thread into it to set the tension). They may be more money but they are nicer and will put up with forced feed loaders better than the stock ones.
