this summer i hope to upgrade to a mag:p , and compressed air. do most tanks come with regulators, and if they dont have one, can i just use an inline one? and what would be a decent brand of tank to start out with? i am on a budget so the cheaper the better. also, i am thinking about going with either a 47,68,88 4500 psi tank. and are 114ci tanks too big?

All tanks come with regulators. Otherwise you would be putting 3000PSI into your gun and that wouldnt be good. As far as the size, that is your preference.

All you need is a tank that comes pre-set at 800psi or so. With a mag you won't need an inline reg.

the simplest choice is a Preset screw in tank- i'd say 68/4500.

That should cover you pretty good- Pure Energy, Crossfire, Worrgames, Dye, etc. all offer them.

Personally, a 114 is too big for me to have on my gun.

I currently have a 68/4500 screw in. I'm upgrading to an 88/4500 flatline because I want to support AGD, and I need a bigger tank to play back. I figure, what better way to do both. :)

i was probably gonna buy 2 of them, just because i mostly play in the woods, and the store is a little far away.

the tanks that are not screw in; are they just connected with a micro/macro line?

Best way to attach the adjustables is with macroline, and a quick disconnect. That way it makes it really easy to de-gas a mag, and not have to worry about the on/off assembly getting tweaked or flying across the room when you pull the valve.

Them 88 CI 4500 PSI Stubbies are sweet...

Even sweeter when you have friends help get the parts to get them built. :D
