OK this is what my friend would like to know:

"Ok, the remote I bought was a PMI Pure Energy, with a slide check. I screw the gun and tank to it, screw down the slide check, and feel the gas fill up the remote. But I shoot the gun and it fires like there is no gas in the gun."

He has a Tippman 98 by the way...

Thanks!

Use the tank on the gun without the remote, to see if the problem is with the gun, or the remote.

If it works fine without the remote, then you should be focusing on why the remote is not working properly.

Assuming the tank has enough air in it (more than 850PSI) then it shouldn't be tough, assuming there is not a major manufacturing snafu with the line itself.

You said it "feels" like the air line is being filled from the tank, so you may be looking at the connection from the end of the remote to the gun adapter, or the end of the remote itself...
