I've been having a problem with air leaking out my velocity screw on my X valve (brand new). I was wondering, if I clogged the hole to keep it from leaking would it cause any problems?....
Any thoughts would be great..
thanks

That could cause all kinds of problems - first off it would be dangerous, as the valve is designed to vent out the back when it gets too much pressure.

Second, you'd end up with pressure behind the reg piston, which would prevent the piston from moving backwards and give you a nightmare with erratic velocity.

plus, what would you "clog" it with? more than likely, at 800 PSi input pressure, your "clogging" would just blow out the hole and it would be leaking again anyway.
