Hey Guys,

I'm thinking about getting an x-valve and selling my Retro on ebay (all black, all aluminum valve is sooo tempting), but I need to know if the x-valve comes with all of the parts that the LX does, so that I can tweak it. Thx.

It does come with all the level 10 parts and a new sear... depending on what you putting it on you may need to swap on off pins. It comes with a .750 I am told... But many seem to find a .745 or .740 work better for them in thier particular marker. And in an Emag you would want/need to use the even shorter one you already have.

I'd be dropping it in my Micromag body. Although now I'm starting to wonder if the X-Valve is worth it or if I should just stick with my ever-working Retro. I figure I can get the X-Valve from paintballgear.com for $300 and sell my retro for about $180+ on ebay, so I'd be spending an extra $60 for the X-Valve instead of just getting a LX for my Retro. Worth it?

Well do you have level 10 already? If not then 60 bucks for it and three ounces of wieght loss seems worth it to me. That would be cheap enough for level 10 alone...

i doubt that you can get $180 for your retro valve

I put mine out there for sale along with its level 10 kit and got 240 shipped for it...

jeez....and all along i thought you could get maybe $150....

why would someone pay more than half new price for a used item that is outdated?

oh well....i gues they post at PBN too ;)

Absolutely nothing wrong or obsolete with a RT P or Emag Valve... They perform just as well.

Some people prefer the ruggedness of them and when you couple it with level 10 it gives them the same thing for 80-100 less.... They don't care about the 3 ounces.

Yeah I'm still thinking about just throwing a lvl-10 on mine, 3oz doesn't matter much when you have a full 4500/68 tank strapped on the gun.

Thats a good option too...
