yeah last year it was in August

Somebody had to move their event. August would have had 3 major tournaments all very close. NPPL NY, PSP Philly, and IAO. NPPL and PSP are both pretty much stuck. they have to have their 4th event in between the 3rd and 5th. IAO to July was a pretty good move.

I was a little worried myself. I had to double check to make sure I could attend the class and still make the Judges check in and meeting. Shouldnt be a problem. See ya there.

Hey is there an age requierment cause im 17, and am not a certified airsmith, but I want to learn everything I can about markers & mags (hehe)I also didnt want to drop 75 bones and not be able to participate. also Does anyone know the channels to learn how to become an airsmith. Im a pretty mechanicaly minded and presently work in a machine shop. This is the stuff I love and would really like to do.

cphilip

I don't think there is any age limit. But if your Mom is hot and you bring her it might help... :D

My kid went with me last year and he is 16.

There is no nationaly recognised certification for an "Air Smith". Most certifications are from the Manufacturer. On their products. Most people try and collect those. As many as they can. And job history and recomendations. To give them some credentials. Its an accumulation of credentials that makes someone pay attention. But anyone can claim to be an Airsmith at this point. Proving it is another matter. And thats when paper trails and certificate accumulation matters.

Dayspring

Yeah... Our heads were close to exploding from that talk.

The part that I think Tom liked was giving us JUST enough info to try and give an answer. Then he'll ask you "Are you sure?" at which point you question every choice you made since birth. ;)

Still, it was a cool discussion.

Tip: Never answer when he asks that. Pretend to be asleep. Worked for me. Ask Curtis about that... :D

whoa whoa whoa
i saw Pearl Jam like a month ago here in buffalo...
it was probably the best concert i've ever seen
played for 3 hours...
played after 11pm(and most likely got fined bigtime for it)
they turned the house lights on and they still played 2 more songs!
but anyway
man i'd really like to make it
i just need to start saving my pennies i guess
(oooh and the new trigger mod too...ugggh)

They did the same thing in Pittsburgh. I guess I go to so many concerts that it takes a lot to impress me. They were much better back in '92 the last time I saw them. Oh well, back to the topic of tech class....

This is IAO. It is ALWAYS held in Pittsburgh. Talk to Team Effort Events about it. They're in charge.

Question-I want be attending to far away with no car. But say I attend in the next year or two, does that make me a cerified AGD tech? If not how do I get that?

Dayspring
06-30-2003, 12:53 PM
No. It means you took the AGD tech class.

You have to attend the special "Invite Only" tech classes to get those certs.
