I have a question about the ULE Body. Do they serve any functionality purpose? Do they do anything except make jaws drop and saliva to flow? In other words, are they just for aesthetic value?

Oh yeah, I'm not asking this sarcastically, because they are sexy as hell. I'm just a n00b in the mag scene.

ULE = Ultra Light Engineering, not only are they sexy looking but they weigh considerably less then the stock stainless steel parts.

Yes, they are lightweight. Does the vert feed allow for faster loading?

Sure does. I'm getting one soon, but mainly for the sexyness factor. Those things look awsome!

I agree. They are so hot. Once I get a mag, I will feel so happy... then I will look at all the ULE mags again :(

Most people do buy them for the looks. they are just so sexy! But the weight is a big factor too. some people are crazy IMO about makeing their gun lighter. Lots of Emag and RTP owners shell out 225 just to trade in their rt valve for an X valve. It's only a 3 ounce differnce. But to some it's worth it.
