What color should I anno the SFL?

I think I have all the parts I want for right now so I'll be sending the ol' SFL in to XPB for a scratch removal and re-anno job. I was tossing around the idea of a pewter to black fade or just having it all go back to the polished pewter. I'm leaning toward just pewter because it's the original color and not very common and also most silver/pewter/black fades seem to have purple in them somewhere in the fade (no offense to Mayhem and Jeffremiller;)). But I wanted to get a few more opinions.

Jam was nice enough to work up a few pics so hit me with your ideas and opinions.

No seriously.. How many solid black SFL's you seen? Not many. They tried to color them all it seems. No one did solid black that I know of or at least there could not be many. And matching things would be a sinch and touching up scratches is a sinch. Go Black!

I do know Manny shoots a black SFL and there was another at the Megameet (if you had been there tire-boy, you'd have known that;)) so they do exist.

phil, just to let you know, i still have not located another silver dust like my sfl. i ffound one, but we still think it was a scam, it was in the thread eith the guy and the halowarp thing

I seen I think Three Silver Dust. Two of them were up in the Chicago area as a matter of fact. Wonder exactly if they know what numbers three realy were. I would suspect there was a certain number of each. I seen one light green one as well. And I think a Blue but not a nice blue nor was that green real pretty. Some if not most of thier color choice was drab. Including the red. Not much bright shinney stuff at all. I think that was a mistake.....

OK well how are you coming on the learning curve? I need me stickers back... But don't rush it... I do not want another defective one! :D

yeah adam had one at the megameet, but i think the black to pewter fade would look sweet, but your def right about the purple being in there, o wells thats what i think but its pretty much up to you man.

Actually $150 in fuzzies plus $60 in floppies and oozies for shipping...oh and 2 box tops from my favorite Post brand cereal. Silly Canadian currency.

I thought about blue but I have a new set of grips and tidbits on the way that would'nt match very well. They would look good with the Blue Grey to Black though...hmmmmm.

I still say purple :p, but if I had to choose something else, I would definately go with pewter, but a bit darker than what you have, almost a "gun metal" That would look uber schweet!!

Anyways, heres a Dark LCD angel pic from white wolf airsmithing that has a green reverse splash on it, maybe JAM or someone thats talented cxan work one of these in photoshop onto your SFL

do a something to black fade, that way the valve will match. unless you plan on getting the valve ano'd or getting a pewter valve it will look wierd.

I'd go with the light pewter or silver that you already have, but have them give it a dust finish. Let me know if xpb will give a multi-gun discount as I'd like to get my e-mag that color.
