Pip...you can fill exactly one CO2 tank with a SCUBA tank before the burst disc ruptures! :D Don't do it...

You talkin air or CO2 here? Seems like your talking both and thats not interchangable.

I know what you asking I think. But if I am right then it all depends on what size CO2 tank you start with. You can get a lot if you get a big one and its mostly liquid in there but it depends on what size

No and I was wondering where you was! Welcome back!

Well I can give you some thought processes.

If we are talking about CO2 then we are talking wieght.

Ounces and pounds here in the US.

So if you had a 20 pound fill cylinder and it was holding 20 pounds of liquid CO2 then how many 12 ounce cylinders will that fill?

It would be a division math problem. Right? So you tell me...

Oh and there are 16 ounces in a US Pounds of weight...

Just go by weight. Most transportable co2 tanks are 20 lbs...16 oz tanks=20 fills...theoretically. You will get a few less than that for sure.

yeah phillip been kinda busy with school and such
gotta get studying :P

so if my math is correct going by tuna
would i get roughly 320oz?

yep and you will lose some of that to chilling the smaller tanks for filling. You put in an ounce and then release it to chill the tank. And then fill it. So you can realy get the most liquid in there.

And some is lost in the fill lines. Disconnecting.

And in order to get the best fill you use a straw in the fill tank to suck only liquid to fill your small tanks. Or... you can invert the Bulk tank and get liquid that way. Cause it goes to the bottom and gas forms on top.

Um, you can't put CO2 in a SCUBA tank.

Only compressed air can go into scubas.. like the others said.
