I have been reading some of the posts on custom mags, and people say things like "That is a nice rail" etc. What is a rail? Are there any schematic drawings of mags so i can avert having to ask n00b questions? I appreciate any responses.

Oh yeah, and another n00b question:

Is an X-Mag just an E-Mag with the X-Valve and a different body? Thanks again.

Kinda. The Xmag has an integrated body/rail. It also utilizes cocker threads and has an electronic eye that looks into the breech to see if a ball is loaded.

ehhh, I wouldn't say that about the emag and xmag comparison. Its an entirely different construction.

As far as I know x-mags are all aluminum and are only 2.7 lbs total. They also have removable breeches. and a number of other things, read up at www.airgun.com

In actual preformance, does the X-mag fire better. I mean, all that is realy unique about the inner workings of it is the eye. And it's not realy needed with the lvl 10.

It's the exact same gun. Only difference is the ACE board, which I don't even use.
