ok, I'm about to get a olde automag rt( The one with the holes milled into the front) And I was wondering if you can take off the foregrip and put on a vertical adapter for like a vert reg. Also is this even needed w\ a flatline reg on the tank?

Well you do not need a vertical reg for an RT and that foregrip if its original is a gas through already...

All the Automag valves have a reg built in to handle the step down from tank pressure to operations pressure. And one of the best fastest recharging regs on the market as a matter of fact. Anything you put in between them and the tank is a waste and a bottle neck not doing you any good.

Plus, if you put a vertical regulator on there, you'll have to drop the output pressure of it. If you didn't, you'd starve it from the tank reg. Although, doing that will probably starve the valve reg aswell. So it's just not the best choice for a RT. :D
