Hey,
I was wondering how AGD rigged up there dyno? What program or kind of program did they use? What kind of sensors? If it's an expensive rig, is there a cheaper way in doing it?
Maybe Tom could chymn in? But of course, any and all help is appreciated. :D
THANKS
weird,
I was having the same thought this morning.

Its a PC with Labview software and custom written routines. We have digital and analog to digital coverter boards in it that take the input from the sensors. There are various sensors for pressure, linear movement and break beams. They are expensive. No we don't give out the software.

well, depends upon what you are measuring. pressure transducer can be used with digital oscilloscope to capture the pressure profile . (you can get piezo transducer) Precision Analog to digital converter is built into the Oscope.
Labview is good for setting up a complex test stand, but not necessary. in most cases, you can do it with homebrew code based upon the user library that vendor give you.
