The Concho Pearl. San Angelo, TX is the only place in the world where you can find these purple beauties. Due to their rarity, they are far more valuable than an average white pearl

A view from the rear of the Amphitheater on the Concho. The curved roof you see is the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts

This is the kind of scenery to be seen around San Angelo.

It's a nice, quiet town. In the summer there are some mad awesome thunderstorms.

It is, problem is, there's not a huge paintball market. Only 1 field (which actually isn't all that bad) with a very small proshop. (he doesn't keep alot instock, but he can order anything from National Paintball in Dallas and have it here in 2 days, so it's not that bad)

i have been there once in my life and it was for a high school football playoff game. we won so the trip back was not so bad but its a total assbeating of a drive. its hard to find more nothingness between cities. san angelo is really nice, abline is too, but there is NOTHING else out there. :)

Not your fault. Miscue politely asked me to. I guess the subject matter was of a slightly mature genre.
Oh well. we have a whole thread full of it:D

How right you are. Sometimes, tho, I'll make a day-trip to Austin or San Antonio (both 3 hours to the East).

I used to go to San angelo every summer. My grand parents live in Blackwell. Your right not to much happens out there but is sure is relaxing.

I'll probably come back here to retire later in life, but for now, I need more action. I'm moving to Bryan/College Station area at the end of summer.

San Angelo is a relaxing place. I also have 150 acres north of town. I'll go out there and swim and just chill. Good hunting around here too.
