what is the Internal Diameter of warp feed tubing? I plan on machining a warp feed neck for angel threaded bodies.

Just a crazy thought but use a micrometer and then you will know for sure ;)

I'm sure "barely more than .690" would work fine. I dont think its a very tight tolerance issue. Its a peice of plastic that you can get from a hardware store.

Uhhh...yeah, but what goes through a warp hose? Balls... and being that most paint isnt bigger than .690" I'd say the tubing is just a little bigger.

I'm guessing that it is 3/4".

When you consider that paint ranges from the .67x range to the .69x range, you could probably get away with .7 inches and it would work fine.

When I had to make a longer warp hose out of automotive tubing, I used 3/4 (.75) inch (id) and it worked fine.

As I have just seen Automagboys other post on the same subject  .....again I will say USE A MICROMETER and as you are threading this into an Angel then measure the feed neck you are taking off the Angel...the bend curvature is a different question but 90 degrees will work fine as you have your design currently, as that is exactly the curve that the power feed modules are set at.

His other thread is here with a picture of what he is trying to achieve, http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=85026

And i Say i do not own any warp feed any angel or any automag. so what do i measure? I have to have it to measure it.

Darn man... I realize you dont own one, but give it half a thought. It just has to be roughly the size of a ball. It doesn't have to be exact. You dont want it to squeeze the ball.

If i guess the warp tube will just slip off or not even go on. I need the exact measurement.

Well find someone that does own what you are trying to measure...as you have seen above all the figures vary, how will you know if you have cut too many turns on the threading if you haven't got an Angel to test it on.
