okay, when I swap the ULE body onto my mag and gas her up she doesn't fire. If I put the old minimag body on she shoots fine.

Am I missing something? Do I need to adjust the trigger rod length?

Thanks for the help folks.

does it do anything? it shouldn't matter what body you have on it.

I gas it up and the trigger has tension, but nothing happens when I pull it.

the only thing I can think of is the spacer inside the body (that main spring sit up against) is not quite right. can you slide the bolt into the body all by itself with no rubbing or sticking?

yeah, slides in with no problem.

I'm stumped.

do you have LX installed? tried the lightest spring? just a thought. maybe the spring spacer is too far back on the ULE and causing more spring pressure? I dont know either. never heard of that.

It's a stock retro-valve.

Dumb question since I'm stumpped as well..

When you installed the body did you remove the twist lock for the barrel? Maybe the body isn't flush with the rail and holding the bolt in place?

Good luck.

There should be a small gap inbetween the trigger and the trigger rod when the gun is gassed up. If it the rod is tight against the trigger, the rod is to long. If there is a big gap, your trigger rod may be too short. Check these other things out first.

1. Air pressure in your tank.
2. Degas, turn up velocity and than regas gun.
3. Clean and oil your on/off pin and assembly.
4. Is the safety off?

Could be a tolerance difference between the ULE and the Mini body. A different on/off pin may be needed.

good luck,

Make sure that bolt is not binding against the inside of the body. try loosening the field strip screw a little bit and try to fire. if the body and valve is lining up poorly, you may have problem. (I had same problem with emagvalved LX and zbody) I ended up putting a thin washer in the front screw between the rail and body.
