SOme of you know that the return magnet came off my trigger right befor a large event, so I was unable to play using the xmag. Once I figured out that it was the return magnet that was the problem, I found out that the trigger litterally was able to swing back and forth when you wiggled the marker just right, in electro mode.

I was showing this to a group of folks at the event and on guy says, "man, if you were having a seizure, you could be a pro!". Anyway. I am finaly getting around to fixing the issue and decided that I needed to remove the trigger, so I wouldn't glue it all together in the frame and have a real mess.

Very carefully, I pounded the pin lose. Arghghghh... I couldn't pull it out and needed to get the robogrips to pull it free. Thought, I would share a rare picture of an xmag right next to a hammer and a pair of robogrips!

i am taken back to the thought that a marker that costs so much would require this kind of "mantience"

Use the back of the body to cut off some of that ugly duct tape from your hammer.

The same thing happened on my emag. I didn't take the gun apart. I just superglued it back in and put a folded peice of cardstock between the trigger and the frame.

you think thats bad, try watching someone take a drill to your new angel.

also, couldn't help but notice that your Xmag doen't have the ule gripframe. is that your preference or did it just come that way?

Its a AGDE one... They came that way. None of the AGD USA ones do.

RP--

just remember when pounding the pin back in from the other side: hte X-mag has an on-off switch sticking out the side. after installing 3 timmy triggers on regular emags, i didnt think anything of turning the grip frame over and whack!......well...the on-off switch went flying about 20 feet :(

yea, it's all fixed, no problems... it is a AGDE xmag, but I would have requested the non-ule grip anyway (feels more comfortable to me).
