The Central Virginia Paintball League (CVPL) is a new series in Virginia dedicated to 3 man open format. This league was established to bring tournaments to the local area to benefit the players and fields involved.

The CVPL will be hosting a series of 6 tournaments over the next 6 months on 3 different fields. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams at each event along with individual medallions for each player on those teams. After each event teams will be awarded series points towards the end of series prizes based on how they placed at the current event. The end of series prizes will be cash payouts and trophies to the top 4 teams along with individual medallions to each member of those teams. The final cash payouts are based on a large percentage of the entry fees collected. This means the more teams that compete the higher the cash payouts will be.

Series Prizes: $12,000 in cash, trophies, and prizes for placing teams throughout the event. Sponsors include National Paintball Supply, Diablo Paintballs, J&J Barrels, Paintball 2Xtremes Magazine, Lapco Paintball, Ricochet 2K, Hammerhead Paintball,…

Entry Fees: $180 per team per event (includes all-day air). Field paint only, 3 case minimum Diablo Blaze @ $65 per case and Inferno @ $70 per case

Each tournament will be played on airball, hyperball, or speedball concept fields. Each event will start at 7am with an 8am captain’s meeting. We are looking for a great turnout and heavy competition, so if you got it, bring it! The dates for all the events are as follows:

Series Opener Powerline Paintball Saturday June 28, 2003
Second Event Soggie Bottom Sunday July 27, 2003
Third Event TMX Sunday August 24, 2003

we are in the process of talking to a lot of other fields to start a state wide event, we want to break the state in to regions, since it would be crazy for me to drive from fredericksburg va to places like roanoke va one month and the go to va beach the next month, so we are looking in to regions through out the state (north, south, south east, south west, and central, etc.) and the have the top 3 teams out of each region compete at a state wide event. held at a random field from year to year, its still in the thought process but it will be come reality in the near future.
