I'm thinkin about goin electro but I need opinions on what I should get.

I'm thinkin a speed might be a good idea because if I buy it from the local place I'll have a warranty on it from them. But I am not sure. What about a Rat Impy, Viking, Excalibur, matrix, timmy, or e-mag.

I dont really wanna get another mag though cause I like to have different things to play with.

LCD matrix.
Faster quieter and just as light as an emag.

I know I will get slammed for this but wait until the Omen is out in full production and give it a try. I have put cases through one and they are amazing. Adjustable in every way. I know it is a little low for what you are talking about but don't knock it till you try it.

No, get the spyder esprit. its only $95. lol. no i'd go with a matrix, or a timmy, or a speed, or e mag(but i noticed u said u didn't want a mag, so maybe you wouldn't want an emag since they're similar), or a bushmaster, or an impulse, or shocker. um there's others, but you got the idea. any one of those are under $1000.

Best electro under 1k? Well it depends on what YOU like, if you dont know which to decide from, then go to your field and ask to try peoples angels, or timmy, or cockers, any gun you may find interesting.

Now in my opinion, the best electro under 1k is probably a 2k2 Timmy. Why? Well because for the 995 dollars your paying, you get a light marker, thats fast and accurate and quiet, looks sexy and has ACE also has can reach a max ROF of 35 bps, but thats only if you get a WAS board, which every timmy owner should have.

Rat Impulse with the upcoming WAS board will be around $800. And as stated before a used E-Mag that isn't all banged up with a ULE body.

I say a Speed or a Viking... my only issue when I was deciding was that there are more angels out there, more angel dealers and it would be easier to deal with anything that went wrong with my speed than with a (relatively) rare viking.

I would also have to say the new rat impulse with the WAS board or buy a ULE emag.

Wow, nobody except Teen remembered another great marker for < $1000. I love my BM2K, and you can get one new with PDS for around $550. If you order direct from ICD, you can get them with 'Cocker thread at no extra cost. They are light, fast (I believe the current board is capped at 36 bps), good looking (IMO), and reliable. If you desire some type of display for it, you can get the DV8 (IIRC, it's currently owned by Have Blue, Punisher, and one other whom I can't remember). There are also all sorts of mods and add-ons for it.

Timmies and Angels are nice, but they seem overpriced for the performance that they give compared to the BM2K (before I get flamed for that comment, be aware that I own an Angel LED, and have used Timmies for several games).

An E-Mag of some sort would also be a good choice, but other than Level 10 and ULE, there's not much that you'd probably want to do to it.

im really wantin an X-Mag. but i dont have the $$ for one. and paintball isnt as big as it used to be around me so not as many ppl play, and when they do play they use spiders and tippmanns. right now i have a classic w/ 68-4500 crossfire and ppl are like holy ****, that gun just owned us. but im tryin to tell em, its me, not the gun. i just prefer the way the X-mags look. but if i dont get an X-mag i would have to get a Timmy

The viking, w/ the WAS board it's as fast or faster than any gun on that list, for 20 bucks you can get eyes (if you get a new one), is waaay more efficent than any of those other guns, and just as reliable as an angel.

They're also rare and after the lprs been turned down have the whole anti chop ability.

why get an electro from my experience they are noware near as relyable as good old mech gun' But if you insist and since you don't want a mag get an (I'm gonna regret saying this) an 03 cocker w/ an eblade kit (there I said it). I was at a tourney and a guy there was doing 20 bps on one. That should fufill your needs

P.S. (Don't flame me I have a mag and it's grrrrreat)

Save some money and buy a impulse of bushmaster.

Phil, when you say full, That doesn't include a ULE body does it? Are you figuring the cost of an Emag, plus the cost of the ULE body? Emags aren't coming with cocker ULE bodies now, are they?

Right there. 2k2 timmy is the best under 1k. Hell, pay 200 more and get a Lasoya timmy. They come with a little it more than the 2k2. Highg flow barbs and a WAS board.

I wouldnt buy a lasoya... Why? Because it was made for lasoya.

There it is. I love vikings, i have had three at once, and liked them all. If you buy them used you can get one with was for 700ish bucks, possibly with the eye. Low pressure AMAZING EFFICIANCY and speed all in one tight package. And timmys, in my opinion feel cheap due to the stamping process they use instead of acutally milling the frame.

hey, what about the adrenaline impulses, they are very light weight, are very efficient, come with all adrenaline mods, including a magnetic trigger, and on top of that, have an eye. i mean, that is incorporating the emag, with the trigger, the viking, with the efficiency, and the speed with the low pressure. also they come with lifetime warrantees, and sweet *** milling. and dont forget the matching freak. and then, for 50 bucks more, there is the low pressure reg. i would go with the adrenaline impy.
