read a post (believe it was from Tom) that said agd was working on a trade in program for classic rt's (since no mod works on them). Was just wondering if any progress has come about.

looking forward to it.

Me too...then at least it would give my RT some resale value.

 ;)

He was saying that it would happen when the stock of ULE's rose and stabilized. I should think that will be fairly soon. But its not set in stone yet.

what's the rush to trade theis baby's in. They are still great guns. Getting a ule and x and rail(I think that was what he said the trade in was) will only make it lighter and wont make it any better functioning. But with the ule trigger comming out and word that it will only work on newer Retro's and X-valves that could be good. But is it realy worth it. Don't put down a great gun just cuz it can't be upgraded.

I know these are fast but mine is like pulling the string back on a 60 pound compound bow. The only way to pull it fast is to hook up a saber saw to the trigger.

Just wondering on the time line.

You think he would do just the RT Pro valve for x valve or I'd have to do the go x valve program?

If I could get a purple ULE, I'd trade in a heartbeat.

My question about the program is this: what about people who have upgraded their classics? I have LX on mine now, and I'm considering an Intelliframe. The biggest thing holding me back is the fact that I might pay for it and get stuck with a useless frame.

Considering that a few online stores are now carrying the ULE's, it's a good sign that the stock is possibly near where it needs to be for this to happen.

Can someone please explain to me what the total deal is? I'm a soon to be Classic RT owner, and this is the first time I'm hearing about this trade in deal. What'll be involved?
