I know mags love oil, but what parts and when. I know once a month drop a couple drops in the "oil" holes on the valvbe, but what should I oil every time I clean it, or everytime I shoot it?

i clean and oil mine everytime i play. i used to use gold cup, it would turn everything black so i would wipe down the bolt, power feed tube, spring. now i use KC trouble free oil, which i think is way better. whatever oil you use, just put a few drops in a hose fitting then fire off a few rounds. that will work fine for you.

Depending on the valve you use, I oil level seven mags once before I play for the day in the 2 holes on the bottom of the valve. For my x-valves, I oil it every five games by putting oil in my macroline and dry firing it through the marker.

um... isn't it said that you aren't supposed to oil in those 2 holes?

no foo, it's said that you are supposed to put some oil in them about once a month, but apparently you oil the asa everytime you play. correct?

Maybe I am wasting time, but after every day of play I pull my gun apart (body from rail, grip from rail, valve of course) and clean all the parts exterior's.
I then take off the bolt, open up the powertube, and lube the inner o-ring, clean the spacer (usually not a big deal), re-oil the tip o-ring, and also pop off the bottom brass piece (forget the name), oil the o-ring on the tip, and drop a couple of drops on the interior o-ring.
Reassemble and it is good to go again!
Usually takes me about 20 minutes to do it all, unless I have to work quickly.

Duke, I do the same thing... I just can't stand a spec of dust on my mag after the day is over...

Foget the holes and just do the Air lines. It will get to where it needs too. And yea every time you use it. Good thing to do.

the 2 holes on the bottom of the classic valve have "oil" laser engraved right on there
