its not totally clear (the plastic spring isnt, as its vacuum hose), but the rest is...

best of all, paint WONT break in it, as the spring is very sturdy. it can take a shot, unlike the hose that comes with warps...

So, are you going to tell us where you got it? And more importantly, where we can get some? :D Also, how did you attach it to the hose "fittings"?

hehehe...

its bilge pump hose, 3/4" ID, got it from west marine.

it fits the stock fittings perfectly. in fact, it presses in, and makes a better fit than the stuff that comes with it. :D

it rocks!

oh yeah, a quick word of warning. it isnt quite as flexible as the normal hose (actually its more, but not useable). The ID is such that much less than say a 1.5" radius bend will kink it and slow feeding. it wont stop entirely, but it will create a good bit of friction.

GREAT! Thanks. There are plenty of West Marines around here. I'm quite familiar with them. never thought to look for warp hose there. ;)

oh yeah, if anybody wants some, i can get it for them (at a slight markup, say $3 per foot, with 3.85 shipping). :)

Very nice. It also adds to the visuals. :D

Sniper, did you have to shave off part of the exterior spring to get it to fit the plastic hose adapters?

just a brainstorm here.....

but as i'll be looking for clear hose too (if i decide to do a warp). do they make syphon hose that fat? i remember back in high school we used to have some pretty fat clear hose we used for tobacco smoking water pipes.....honest. i'm unsure of the size of that hose, but i'm sure the local TSC or canadian tire might have something.

cheers

i didnt have to modify it at all. it just pressed in (with a little force, anyway).

sime, i have no idea.
