if you put rain-x (the stuff that you put on your windshield of your car) in your barrel, would it help you in shooting broken balls clean?

anyone tried this?

Yes, it's an old trick but works. It won't totally allow you to shoot out, but it makes for an easy squeegie.

you can pick it up at any auto store or K-mart or Wal-mart. Squirt a bit down your barrel and squeegie it through to leave a nice thin coat.

rain-x is not the stuff at the gas station that you use to wash your windshield. the bollte says rain-x on it. people use it on their windshields so that when it rains, the water will get off your windshield faster.

on my car it lasted a good 3-4 days of rain, so i guess how many balls you brake.

Here is another trick that works, try spraying silicone in your barrel, let sit for a little bit then squeegie it out.

Silicone is a plastic, and you can buy in spray can for lubrication.

I don't know where to look for it, but try a hardware store, or a camping/hunting/gun store

Rain-x is a good trick, the best way to put it in your barrel is to put the liquid on the cloth of your straight shot and pass it in your barrel a few times. The paint won`t stick to your barrel and the air flow will push it out more easily.

Will it change your bore size? Im thinking probably nothing that will matter, but was just wondering.

ENDO!

No, it will not change the bore size.
Rain-X works like car wax, where it coats the surface with a very thin film, but not enough to change the bore size.

well mainly it fills in the tiny pores of yur barrel, so paint goo will instead of being in the tiny pores, just pass strait thru much easier
