Get:
Intelliframe ~90 to 100 bucks (used from the classified section)
X-valve 225 (new w/ valve trade-in) or 250 (used from the classified section, keep old valve)

Later you can get other stuff, but these should come first.

It's not a mini, but this is how mine is setup. (now the hose runs straight from the valve to the on/off around the back of my hand)

ps- you're only allowed 1 signature image. it has to be under 20k and 175 pixels tall x 350 pixels wide. Otherwise the Mods will come after you;)

you should buy a used mag from the forums, that could save you some money. but to entertain your choices:
I started with literally the same wish list as you, but found these options to be much more feasible:
To start off with, buy only what is necissary to play. upgrade later.
the TKO Automag comes with a barrel. Either the Emag stock barrel or a PMI Ceramic, whichever they have most readily available. That should suffice temporarily, so don't mess with the ultralight.
total:$280

Personally, I wouldn't mess with the benchmark frame, its cheaper, yeah, but so is the quality. The trigger pull is as long as a Spyder's and there's alot of slop in the pull. The Intelliframe is well worth the extra money. The trigger is short and crisp, but easier than the stock trigger. Again, you can get a good deal by buying a used one off AO, but lets say you bought a new one for 110 from pbgear.
new total: $390

Level 10= $70 from pbgear.
New total: $460

Evolutions (from what I hear) are very good. the question is: are you going to fire fast enough with that classic valve to warrant spending another $30-$40? I know I didn't. I linked my frame to my revvie and I never outshot it with my classic vavle. For now, get a 12v Xbrd revvie @ $50
New total:$510

Redz- I love mine. You do know you have to buy the belt, too, right? pack and belt for $62
Final Total: $572 plus shipping

In time you can upgrade parts as you see fit, but honestly this is the best course of action. (also, you could save another $50 to $100 by buying someones old mag setup from the classified section. then you could trade up for an X-valve so you wouldn't have to buy a level 10)

ok, tx..but, i wanted to buy the stuff all from 1 site so i would only have to pay 1 shipping charg, if even 1..thats why i was ordering from pbgear, there cheap, and free shipping over $100...i would get the minimag and upgrade it..but im confused...how would u get a foregrip for it??i mean cuz dont you need a expansion chamber to even have a grip???

Automagger44
06-14-2003, 09:38 PM
ok, here is another choice..Minimag with Ricochet2k=$352
J&J Ceramic Barrel=$34
Retro X Valve=$300
a total of $687.18.....is it worth it..or dhould i get something else...and...i also need a bottomline for nitro dont i?? and how is the stock triggr pull on the minimag?

If you buy the TKO package, then it comes with a regular gas through foregrip (it's not an x-chamber, just a hollow grip).

Are you using CO2 or HPA Compressed Air? If you're using CO2, then you do need an expansion chamber, but otherwise the gasthru foregrip that the TKO package has is fine. Personally I run my hose from my tank straight to my valve, I just use a foregrip for the heck of it...

Also, one thing to note, When you buy something from someone on the forums, their price usually includes shipping. Look around here for a used mag. Everyone already has one, so its hard to get a high price when selling one. It's best to take advantage of that. You could buy the rest off pbgear and that would still total over $100. Shipping wont be a problem either way for you...

It's stiff and crisp, but managable. You could probably stand it until you get $ for an intelliframe.

If you give me a sec, I'll see if I can find a mag for you in the classified section (just for an example)

i am using nitro..i dont know if im going to get the tko kit or just a minimag...either way i cant get the x valve..but im still confusd on the minimag thing...ok, i have a spoon cradle with a asa adapter, how would i run a macroline from the gun to th asa, if it is a vert asa??i dont have the money yet, but i should have it in 1-2 weeks...i will have a total of about $670-$690, and i dont know what to get with it...

example 1 (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83275) he wants 230 shipped. You can probably talk him down to around 200...
Comes with a barrel, hoses and a drop.
so 200
+revvie $50
+intelliframe $110
+lvl 10 $70

$430 for a nice mag setup. You'l have $200 at least to spend still at pbgear. get the intelliframe, level 10, revvie, Redz pack, and whatever else from pbgear and you get free shipping...If you get an X-valve, go through the AGD online store or call AGD. Don't buy it from pbgear. that way, you can trade in the vavle that comes on this mag and get $100 knocked off the price.

If you get everything from pbgear then here's what to get:

TKO package. Better value than Minimag (http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/010-1012-1.html) $280

Revvie (http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/014-9060-2.html) $50

REDZpack (remember to select your size belt in the options) (http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/040-7404-3.html) $62

Intelliframe (http://www.paintballgear.net/011-1000-850.html) $110

Level 10 (http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/011-1000-581-1.html) $69

Thats under $600. save the rest for upgrades later on.

He wants 280 for all that. All you'd need is a level 10 and the Redz pack. That's still enough to get you free shipping from pbgear...

or this (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=87273) Classic, Mini, or a brand neww RTPRO complete w/ level 10 & X-valve ($510!)

If you get the Intelliframe from pbgear, its $6 cheaper plus free shipping.

Also, I forgot: Cphillip and Tunaman are selling RTPro's (that come with level 10, xvalve, and intelliframe) and including a free warp feed all month long in June. Thats the best deal you'll find anywhere...If you get an RTPro, You dont need to upgrade...check it out (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=86088)

im still confusd on the minimag thing...ok, i have a spoon cradle with a asa adapter, how would i run a macroline from the gun to the asa, if the minimag is a vert asa??

Cryer

Even though the marker comes with a vert ASA, the air still has to get to the valve. If you did run air through the vert ASA, you'd have 2 hoses: 1 from your tank to the foregrip, and one from the vert ASA to the valve.
Like this: (My Automag. Old pic)

http://www.automags.org/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=830268

You can also just run the line from your drop to the valve.
Like this: (Dave's Automag)

http://www.automags.org/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=844913

See? he has a vert ASA and a gas-thru foregrip, but he doesn't run the air thru the grip...

so i can buy a minimag, and just get a foregrip, and connect the valve to my drop??in that case, what do u think i should get, the tko automag kit, or a minimag and foregrip+extras??

Automagger44

and also, if i got the minimag, would i need to get steel braided hoses??

Of those 2, get the TKO package. Same marker, but it will come with all the basics: a barrel, foregrip, and hoses. The only difference is that the Minimag has a longer body.

First get the TKO Mag for $280.
Then get the Level 10 for $69
Then, a revvie for $50
Then, an Intelliframe for $110
and Finally a redz pack & belt for $62

That totals around $570.

Later on, when you have more money to throw away:p, get an x-valve, ULE body and a cocker barrel kit (multi-bore like the PIPE)

It comes with one. you would need a foregrip, a bottomline ASA, and another hose.

ok thx m8, i havnt decided if im geitting a revvy or a rico.

Cryer
06-16-2003, 11:14 AM
My friend got a rico, he says he doen's like it. it feels 'toyish', so he bought an Evo. I think eventually (especially if you get the X-valve later on) you need to get an Evo2, but for now, get a revvie. They are $50, and in my opinion, work better than the ricochets that cost $15-$20 more.

I'd recommend scoping out the for sale section here at AO. Find someone respectable with good feedback selling most of what you want (granted, you probably won't find someone selling EXACTLY what you want) and get the other pieces/parts from other folks here. You'll come out ahead.

A well taken care of used mag will perform exactly like a new one. They'z durable!

Usually people will use heat shrink tubing (available at Radio Shack). Dave used somthing else, I forgot, but you can PM him and ask... (http://www.automags.org/forums/private.php?s=&action=newmessage&userid=2588) It's used to prevent the hose from scratching the finish on the bodies
