how consistent is the x-valve? The consistency on my classic was a little disappointing. I am running nitro.

After I adjusted the Level 10, at first mine was fairly erratic. But after I 'broke in' the PowerTube O-ring, I get +/- 2fps at most. (i.e. 278, 279, 279, 280, 279...etc) Just keep it (the power tube o-ring) oiled, and you'll have perfect consistancy.

I get +-4 to +-2 on my Cocker, it's a lil different each time.

well i just chronoed today, on my emag i was getting 277, 277, 280, 278, 279, 283(o.O) 277

not the best, but at one field i got pulled out because the limit was 280, and i chronoed at, 283, 282, 281, literally, and he pulled me off.

chronoed my cocker today to, it was like 220, 270, 273, 272

the 220 one was a bit odd. if i have the pressure in the cocker too high, and let it sit, the first ocuple balls just flop out

The best consistancy i've ever had over the chrono was on my retro-level 10- z-grip mag. I fired 7 shots. The first 6 shots were 296 (every single one of them)shot number seven was 297. On other occasions, i have had 'triple' repeats of whatever i was chronoing at (279,279,279, ect.)

When my guns are properly maintained, the consistancy is out of this world. The biggest factor to me is ALWAYS paint. consistancy in the quality of the balls is what causes most of my variance over the chrono. When i did the 6 296's, I was shooting fresh-off the truck diablo at the mardi gras open. Fantastic paint.

When I am shooting lesser-quality stuff (i.e. regular ol' field paint) chrono readings are more like +/- 3ish. My markers are dead on- - - it's all in the paintballs.

Printout from firing my Emag over the AGD factory chrono:

Seems adequate to me.

Thanks. Another question. I can get a 2k1 Cobra Angel for 750. Should I buy the angel or put an x-valve, barrel kit, and trigger frame on my classic mag?

The cobra seems like a good deal. Personally, tho, I'd upgrade my mag. I just like the feel of the mechanical mag and the X-valve. It's undescribable.

Depends on paint match and temperature and stuff like that. On a good day, with matched paint, +/-2 fps, with the occasional jump (not more then +/-6). I only jump when my gun sits for a while, then it settles.

my mag usually got +-1 or +-2. My timmy on the other hand is all over the place.. like +-8, but my reg still is new so that could be a problem.

if you're really having a problem try tearing down your gun and replacing your reg seat..etc
