Wow that's deep man! What made you think of that by the way?

Sorry, question:

I don't think so, the magnetic fields
should be fairly local and you can
program a delay in the firing circuitry to avoid stray signals. Computer's CPU run fine with the floppies, HD's, and fans all running inside the same case.
Unless these magnets are huge and can lift pounds I don't think they would be much of a problem.

Funny if it turns out to be a real problem.
They could have avoided it all with springs?

Magnets aren't neccesarily bad for computers. It's bad for magnetically stored data. Magnets will screw up things like hard drives, diskettes, etc., but not things like CPUs and such. That's why things like your digital watch can go near magnets.

I dont know i had read about all the E mode firing problems and had been sitting at my computer and remembered putting a magnet near my monitor once a while back and where it passed over the screen it made some awsome colors lol then it just sort of hit me i think this might just turn out to be a good deep blue disscusion...Thanks for the input guys i cant believe i thought of something no one else has posted anything about yet to knowledge anyways...Thanks again

I'm sure that topic came up during designing, but if it didn't, why not?
Don't worry, I'm sure it was taken into consideration, and isn't a problem...

There are 2 desiding factors on this.

1 What is the magnet made out of.
and
2 How large of a magnetic field is created.

Different types of material act differently when they are arround electronice. Take for example your stereo speakers. If you set your cheap speaker on your tv kiss it goodbye( the tv). Now set a "magnetically shielded speaker" on that same tv and all is well.
