Just got an RT the other day, lubed it up an took it out. Problem is the first trigger pull ramdomly just doesnt shoot. Absolutly nothing happens. Could it be mechanical and the trigger isnt lined up with the on/off pin? Why just on the first shot?

Could be some bolt stick. Do you have a level 10 kit installed or no?

It does have a level 10 that it came with. How do you mean?

You may need to try the next larger carrier or just put some oil down the powertube tip to get things flowing a little better. Bolt stick comes from a carrier that is to small and creates enough resistance to hold the bolt back when you move the sear/trigger.

The carrier is a little gold/brass piece down in the powertube tip. They vary in size and kinda sqush the powertube oring as much or as little as needed. http://store.airgun.com/agdprod/images/parts/carrier_med.jpg
To small, bolt stick, to big, leak.

ok,

when you unscrew the back field screw that releases the valve you take the bolt of the thing that has the spring off. it should slide right off. when you take the bolt of there is a tip that takes a wrench to take off. unscrew that and you might need a pick to get the stuff out, but there should be some little little shiney things right when you look in there. dont loose them. but you get your pic and there is a brass thing down in there and you put the pick right under it and pull up and it should come out. it might need some force to get it out when you take that out there should be a little black or white washer thing down in there keep that in there. but that brass thing is called a carrier. the lines on the side of it means the size the dotes mean halves. so a 1 line and 1 dot would be a 1.5. but there is a oring in the carier use the same oring from carrier to carrier but bolt stick you need to go up a half carrier if you still get bolt stick go up another half. if it starts to leak down the barrel go down one carrier. when you put it all back together put some oil on the carrier. put the carrier make sure the washer is still in there and laying flat. the carrier goes down oring first. put a pen cap in there to make sure it is seated all the way down. then you put the shiney thin things back in they are called shims make sure they are laying flat. and then put the power tube tip back on.

sorry so long

Dude, that was killer. Im getting the hang of how this gun works. that all makes sense, and some guy at the field was saying something similar to that. That was one spot I failed to oil, or take apart. Awesome guys. Thanks.
