Are there any plans by one of the hopper manufacturer's to come out with an agitated hopper without a battery compartment? With more electronic guns using NiMH batteries (Emag, Angel) capable of powering a hopper as well as the gun I would think a hopper specifically designed for this would have some advantages.
Without the need for a battery compartment the hopper could either be smaller/lighter or modified to hold a few extra balls in the same size body. Also, it could be designed with a high quality, sturdy patch kit ready made for your specific gun. I would love to see this myself, and feel strongly it would be a popular product. It would also result in less people popping open their gun and hacking into the electronics.
As the HALO is still in development this could be a great time for AGD to approach them with the idea. It would be especially useful witht he HALO as it currently requires 6 A batteries. Just a thought.
