well lets get some pix and thoughts about them!

my delema. I am a rider and have had Many bikes, and ill really have no time to ride anymore when i get my lisc. Well i have about 10-12 friends that ae getting them. And i talked to my dad and he isnt crazy about it bc he has a bike of his own and knows what its like. Two of his brothers dumped their bikes and never road them agian. I totaly understand about riding them and what not with water/oil/gravle. Im not planning on doing crazy crap. We would end up riding down the shore alot and just having fun.

i was planning on getting either a Cbr600 or Vrt1000r3? -input on what u think.

also this might sound noobish but you can hear some bikes over others.. they are just plain Loud. (without mod of the pipes) Im thinking that those load bikes have v-twins in them insted of an inline 4 cilender.

correct me about it if im wrong.. i just want one of those loudas* bikes.

This has nothing to do with crusers (sp) or choppers.. just Streetbikes.

Buell or V-rod Harley.

People see you go by on other bikes. People WATCH you go by on a Harley!

Buells are pretty cool.Quite fast and handle really well. The only thing I didn't like is that they will vibrate the ever loving hell out of you.The motor is directly mounted to/part of the frame. There are no rubber mounts to reduce the vibration.
Of all the bikes I have owned my CBR600 Hurricane was the most fun.It was plenty quick and handled really well.I would own another Honda before any of the others I have owned/ridden.
Currently I am saving my change for a CBR900RR or the new 919.

Thats my bike about 3 weeks ago. Before someone ran into the back of me on Sunday. Now take away the left side muffler, rear foot peg and bracket, and crack the fender and tailight and you'll know what it looks like now. Sucks.

I Envy you big n slo. American is the only way to go! A true motorcycle, a Harley :). when i was little i had all these Harley toys, i used to dream of owning one. And Buell, yes buell, the only "crotch rocket" (ricey style) type bike i'd actually ride, plus its made in partnership with Harley, rock on

One day im gonna own a fatboy :D

Here's a little joke for you Harley lovers - What's the difference between a Harley and a vacuum cleaner? :D

CasingBill

vacuum cleaners are suppose to suck?:p

I still own a vaccuum?

Ugh, seriously if you want loud and street bikey, go with the RC51,TL1000 or SV1000. 1000 cc v twins, that can roar like a Harley. Big fan or the TLs, RC51s are ok, havent ridden the new SV, but it its like the TL S it should be sweet. I'd run like mad from the Buell, my brand new Harley leaked oil in under a year and they use the same engine design. The '94 Yamaha that I have here at college thats been in a car wreck doesn't pull that crap. Rain, oil, and Gravel tend not to be the problem so much as idiots that decide they want your lane. I love bikes and slidding across the asphalt scared the daylights outta me(I slid hard and fast enough for my watch to burn me). Wear a helmet, wear a riding jacket, they are your best friends. They keep you alive.

Of the two you mentioned, the CBR is good. Problem here is everyone has them, I saw 5 2001s in a row once, same color scheme, it was hilarious.

tell ya the truth, I'm not a big fan of buell
ducati's are NICE
Harleys would be my choise but their tag is high.
I really like that hayabusa
CBR954RR will be my first real bike next summer :D

oh yeah, and west coast choppers suck ballz. Jesse is a moron with a big head and a attitude. And anyone with a little skill can make the crap he puts together. I can.

Yeah, I had a relaly bad night at work, so I'm not practising any restraint on my dissin' so you're all welcomed to let me have it in return :D

bajaboy, if you see an Aprilia, Triumph, Ducati Monster and a ratty, rusty twenty year old Interceptor down by the shore this year riding together. Wave to the Interceptor. :)

As for loud and throaty, I'm very happy with the Honda V-4 sound.

FYI, Donovan's Reef has turned biker un-friendly.

Bah!
I own a wrench and know how to use it. Besides with NJ insurance you end up paying more than any street bike is worth. Average insurance price on a 600cc sport bike is $2500 a year, the bikes only worth $7000 new. You break the 900cc mark and your looking at $3600 a year IF your over 25.

THAT JUST DOES NOT MAKE SENSE

Here's my last bike....sadly had to sell her to get the deposit to buy a house

Any bike can be made loud with the right exhaust - I had a Micron race can on mine and while it wasn't ridiculously loud, it could certainly rattle windows at high revs :)

Not many big, straight roads over this side of the pond - sports bikes suit our narrow twisty roads better than Harleys.

CasingBill

With the insurance money I will be getting from my bike accident I was thinking about buying a micron. I don't want too loud though. Just want it to sound nice.

Naked is the Monster 620s ie and Monster 620 ie, they are cool as hell. If I didn't go to college in the ghetto I'd probably have one.

Big'n slo

Thats not a Blast!

That there is a 2000 Millennium Edition X1, with race kit, power commander, ported and polished heads, screamin eagle cams, and a V&H pipe. 118hp at the rear wheel with a 440 lbs dry weight. I Eat 750's all day, and 900's! (with inexperienced drivers );)

So you're just getting your automobile license and you're considering a 1000+ CC motorcycle? Master four wheels before your consider two.

Oh, and there's a difference between dirt and asphault.

Anyway, here are my bikes:

96' ZX-6 (for sale)

Big'n slo

Definitely not a fatboy, Fatboys are built with a softail frame ( no visible rear shocks ) From the looks of it, thats an older than 65 FL ( Panhead ) Electra Glide:)

R6's are sweet. If you guys like Duacati's, go to italy. We were int he left lane(fast lane, we found out) and a group of 20 rockets(gsx-r's, mainly ducatis) go flying by at well over 100mph. We drove by the ducati factory too.....but yes they are very expensive imported. I wan't a bike but i need somone to teach me how to ride one properly so i don't kill my self. R1's and R6's idol at 15mph though...people tell me it isnt a begginer bike.

Here's the one my dad always says:
Henry Ford invented vibration,
Harley Davidson perfected it.
