Body Rail Mount of Battery Pack..possible? practical?

I was thinking about how AGD says you cna mount the battery pack for the emag anywhere...now if you could somehow mount it horizontal on the body rail...you could grip the battery pack with your off hand....sorta like how the clip mounts on some SMG's I've seen... you guys get what I'm sayn?

As long as it's wired in right you can mount it to your couch. I would be interested to see what yours looks like if you pull it off.
