I use a 68ci 3000psi crossfire stubb with my Retro Mag. It's a nice, small, inexpencive tank and I've never had any shootdown problems. I'm not sure exactly what the output pressure is set at but it has to be around 800psi and that make the trigger perfectly reactive for me.

I have a Centerflag Hyperflow 420 Cube.
It's a screw-in 68/4500 preset at 700 psi.
$219.99 at NationalPB.

Works great, has the perfect reactive trigger (but not to reactive), and it's right in the middle of the 650-750 psi recommended output rate...
It also has a great flow rate and I have never starved the valve for air.

also would it be a good idea to get a preset tank and get a second regulator to help with the constancy.

i use an air america 114/3000 raptor, output is adjustable
spend the extra cash to get and adjustable, it will save you the expense when you decided your gonna get one 2 months down the road.you will be able to tune the triggers reactiveness to your liking. I started with a crossfire preset but to much pressure was coming through causing the trigger to be to reactive and very very touchy.

I use a preset PMI 88CI 3000 PSI or a PMI 88CI 4500 w/PMI PE2001 secondary adjustable reg. I like both setups. No problems with shootdown in either case.

I use a 68ci 3000 PSI ACI adjustable Bulldog with my ReTro Valve, though, if your looking to get into nitro, Id work out if your planning on getting a drop with it, and figuring out which would be more practical to get, either a screw in tank, or an on/off style tank, I despise buing a screw in now that I have my KAPP DZII. Hopefully, I'll be getting an AGD Flatline tank to replace it.
