is it ok to use CO2 with a GX4? why or why not?

Technically it's OK, but you run a few risks.

Mainly the CO2 getting into your pnuematics as liquid then blowing it all apart :)

The ANS reg is ok with CO2 it is basically a classic mag valve.

I would NOT do it at all.

I would get a crossfire screwin.

It'd work, but getting nitrogen should be in your plans soon.

If this is the electronic version of the GX4 you should not under any circumstance run CO2 because the electronic solenoid will hate you.

it would be a little better with a anti siphon tank but you will still run the risk off messing the gun up.

i would say to have the perfect set up to have almost no liquid co2 in the gun would be a anti-siphon tank with a palmers stablizer

but with the price of the stablizer you could get a cheap n2 bottle.

you will be able to run it at a lot lower pressure with compressed air or nitro. that means it will be more air efficient, quieter, and more accurate.
