I'm looking to lighten up my emag, and I thought of 2 ways to do so:

1. Buy a ULE rail, ULE body. WOuld require that I get a rail thats been anodized

2. Buy a microEmag body

I like the microEmag bodies, but I don't see one listed for sale at their website. Is there any advantage to either idea? Is one dramatically more expensive than the other? Is it even possible to buy microEmag bodies?

Thanks

Go with ULE body, send the rail to Roguefactor (checkout dealer forum) He will mill out your existing rail and shave about 3 oz off it without needing it refinished for reasonable price. I've millout mine (I have access to mill) and I saved about 3.5oz.

I would not go microbody.

Micro bodies aren't much lighter if any lighter at all than a regular SS body/ standard rail combo.
I'd say send your rail to rogue and pick up a ULE or chord if you can afford it.
