Alright, so I have been doing some studying lately. This time it was on paintball "Eyes."

I was wondering, cuz I couldn't find the info, if the eye on the X-mag uses reflective technology or is it a "broken beam" tecnology? And do you think Beam or Reflective is better?

The NYX uses Beam technology. The Timmy used Reflective. I think the timmy uses reflective. :)

I am sure one of the X-mag owners knows the answer to this.

Reflective. The eye sits in the bottom of the breech and reflects light off the ball. That's why they have 'issues' with some darker (black) paint absorbing the light that needs to be reflected.

Edit because I'm and idiot! ;)

Ha, I think I may be stupid, but it is reflective cuz the eye is underneath... sorry.. Ignore me...:)

Guessing reflective...since the eye is in the bottom of the body. Break beam would require another eye/receptor.

its reflective, hence being one piece, as opposed to two.

i presonally prefer break beam setups, as they are much easier to set up.

It's neither, it si actually AGD Gremlin technology. A little gremlin peeks out of the eye sensor and makes sure the ball is seated in the chamber.

That is one really fast Gremlin...

Nope. The timmy uses break beam ACE. Just like the NYX Matrix.

Thats why there are eyes on both sides of the timmy. Next time you see one look and notice that there are eye covers on both sides.
