Looking to go HPA, need guidance

I saw a couple of those on eBay. They sound like a good deal, but i'm not to sure, cause i've never seen these tanks or met anyone who has used them. What i do know is cossfire tanks are great; you can get a fiber 68ci 3000 tank for about $154. Thats cheaper than most fiber tanks that are that size. Before you get a 4500 psi tank, better check that the fields in your area can fill it, cause otherwise its a waste.

And as you may have read, adjustable tanks are superior to the preset ones but the cost can me up to 3x as much. I have had 1 preset tank, and 2 adjustable ones and my current Smart Parts tank works great. Again though, you only have to pay $150 for a tank vs my $380. You will probably be perfectly happy with your preset, I just thought I would add this in.

What is the advantage of adjustable over preset? I just won this item on e-bay so I'm trying to get all these details before sending payment!! Got it for $150.00 plus $14.95 shipping.

Mainly the advantage is that you can tune your gun to your liking. For example my Automag RT runs much more efficiently using my Smart Parts tank when I set the output pressure down as low as 650psi. However I sometimes want the very reactive "pingy" feel of the RT valve and so I can crank it up to 900-1000 psi and go full auto even (only where it's ok of course). It's just the ability to tweak the gun to run that much more the way I want it. What you got is a good deal with nice custom decals and I am sure you will be very happy with it. There is no 1 best setup, it's largely a matter of your preferences (borrow someone's tank if you can and see how much you notice/care).

I think I understand better now...I'm just a recreational player who wants something better than C02, so it looks like I've opted for the right product...I'll let you know how it all turns out when I get the tank and try it out!!

just my .02 but it cost that person/company to list and "sell" their item on ebay. you should have done your homework before being the high bidder. there are 50 of those tanks on at any given time so its not like you had to act quick or lose out on a one time deal. once your the high bidder you should pay. simple as that.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough on my post, but I was not trying to imply that I wasn't going to pay. The item has been paid for and I'm awaiting shipment.

I do appreciate the lesson on proper business ethics though...;)

BTW, I have one of the 3A-HPA tanks - have used it for about a half dozen days of paintball (and I play paintball hard, this particular tank was in a poorly planned bunker dive where the tank and gun slammed into the bunker that I slipped while going into - now I weigh in the neighborhood of 200lbs and hit hard enough that I went over the bunker, the tank and gun stayed behind - it had just rained and was slippery than...). All in all I am happy with it but with the 88 one I have about twice as much air as paint with my smart-mag, thats why I'm looking at that adjustable American Air one for my next gun.
