1. What does a matte red xmag look like?

2. This might look ugly but is it possible to do a matte to shinny fade?

We usually achieve a matt finish by bead blasting the parts before anodising.
The glossy are parts are polished before anodising.
Matt to Gloss would be difficult & expensive, because the parts would all have to be polished first, then assembled, and bead blasted, just at one end. Fading between the two finishes is also difficult.

What if I took the raw bodie bead blasted it and polished it myself?

Cost of Anno usually go down with quanitiy, soo send your whole disassembled gun to ANO-TECH, and they will polish or bead blast it for you and anno it, single colors are $90, 2 or more are $150

If you look they have plenty of pictures posted every month when they finish the batch. The reds look good and they have red to black fade looks good too. I think the Blue looks good too and depending on how much munah you have they can do other stuff too.

I wish I had munah for an Xmag.

Someone got one last month with black lines, purple and blue sponging.

Just look under XMAGS and poster AGD, TOM.
To do that goto the top and press search. Type in xmags Batch and or shiney.

The one that stuck out was, XMAGS shiney but theyve made another batch since then.

The newer batch had a red black fade and a royal blue.
