OK Guy's here are the anodised pictures of Bob's gun. Been a while coming because Bob doesn't have a digital camera and I only just got chance to visit him and take the pictures.

Lots of pictures to do this thing justice.

This is the first of it's kind, there are techniques used on this gun that are 'State of the Art' within CAD/CAM let alone paintball gun milling :)

It was made as a one off custom for Bob who is a friend of mine and a life long AGD fan.

Oh yeah it's on a rock... (actually on a stone cottage wall :) )

Nice of Bob to keep it so clean don't you think?

Still to be finished. :( Life has been a bit busy and crappy for the last few months. I need to get round to finishing it off.

You may have seen it before but that's before it was anodised and assembled.

HHAHAHahaha! It's NOT Santa! That's "Ol' Sol", the old man of the Sun.

MuGsy, Manike is in England, the man who owns the marker lives in Canada:)

BTW Simon, that is even more wonderful than when we saw it last in the raw. Congrats on a job well done mate!

The colour is black with red accents. It's a dust finish.

The Maple leafs are because it is for a Canadian friend of mine. The battery pack is actually the Canadian Contingent Logo, a rec team, that he is a member of.

'Santa' is a legendary Roman thingy Sun God type stuff (thanks Army) and is a symbol of Bath in the UK. It's a VERY famous face/icon over here. Bath is where Bob who owns this gun has been living for the last three years whilst 'visiting' the UK.

He is about to go back to Canada and wanted something on the gun to remind him of his stay in the UK.

The face was originally a 3D clay wall plaque about the size of a dinner plate. It was digitally scanned into the virtual CAD world, shrunk and placed into the side of the gun. I was then able to NC code to mill it out on a much smaller scale back into the real world.

The very top of the gun is like a C&C but every thing else milling wise is custom.

Credit on how great the finish turned out has to go to John Bonich, who did the final rubbing down, bead blasting and prep work for getting it ano'd. Credit to the gun build up goes to John Sosta. Although I was (with a tad of help from Thordic) the one who set up the level 10 to run right. Credit for patience goes to Jackie Sosta and Bob Lohmaier for how long it took to do and get sorted.

I was an exchange student in the UK and I even visited Bath. If I had known that you guys on the other side of the pond give out X-mags as souveniers I would have put in my request!:D All I got was a book on the poems of Sir Wilfred Owen and a sweater! Tell you what I'll find the book and return it to the UK and you guys send me an X-mag. I'll even take one with the Canadian Maple leaves to make it easy on you guys;) Too many fond memories of go along with the sweater, however. I'm going to keep that.....

Yeah, I handed Simon some Orings :) Maybe its just me but I don't like fiddling around with someone elses $2000 gun :)

In any case, I saw this gun while Simon and Bob were over here for the LIBG. The gun is really nice looking, mucho credit to Simon for some cool milling.
