Well I plan on making a really nice Mag, but I'm not rich so I can annodize. Anyways I plan on buying a ULE body, unannoded, and then polishing it to match as closely as I can to my nickel plated intelli. So my question is how to polish aluminum, or if it's just as cheap to get it annoed. Thanks AO.

Polishing aluminum is very cheap and easy. You just need to sand it w/ a very fine sandpaper, goto Walmart and in the automotive section, they have really fine grades. Then pick up some Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish, it should be in the same section. Its a little red and white container.

Just sand the part, then put some polish and a rag and rub away. Small circles do best.

But I would strongly suggest you get it anno'd, if you're looking to get it to match your intelli, get a clear anno. The anno will give it much stronger shell, so you wont mess up your new ULE. ;)

Ive polished a part on my gun. My LPC, the pic doesn't look to great b/c the part is quite shiney, but as you can see it looks good. It started out black.
