Well, this was my first AO meet. I wouldn't have thought about going if daroach didnt ask me to. Im glad he did. I had a blast. Thanks to curtis and clare for the event. Joe for providing a nice field to play. Kenndog for hauling me around everywhere. Postinote for letting me crash at her place. Daroach's parents for driving me to austin. and everyone else I met along the way.

Trudy's was a blast even if Curtis accused me of being a "mag hater" . Had fun playing twisted metal at his place. Awesome pics by all members. I'll be at the next one providing plans work out.

Just wanted to chime in and say that this was my first AO outing as well, and I had a lot of fun out there. I don't get to see such a large crowd of great players often, and on a nice field to boot.

Well I'm finally home. Traffic was crazy coming back, dropped off my gear at home, then dropped of Jon. After that stop by my friends house for a fajita, gumbo, Wallaby Darned, beer drinking, fireworks party.
** Note only minimal injuries were substaned, and thankfully not to me.

Back on subject, I had a completly awesome time!!!!

Sorry I couldn't hang out more on Saturday, I was completely wiped out after playing all day, and the water pistol wars at dinner.

Yeah, I was totally impressed by everyone. The walk-ons were a different story, but otherwise the AOers were often surprising refs by pulling themselves out w/o them realizing they had been tagged.

What a super group of players. Great sportsmen, all of ya!

I personally feel this meet was a total success! I had a blast. The weather was PERFECT and so was everything else:). Thanks to all who took the time to show up. We had a great turnout with AO'ers coming from FIVE different states! As if Tx wasnt big enough, we are now drawing them in from afar! Nothings better than playing paintball when no one has anything to prove, just have fun.

Hey all I finnaly got back early this morning.

Thank you Curtis and Clare for hosting / brainstorming this superb event. Hands down that was the single greatest weekend of paintball and paintball related fun ever! Also I have to thank you again for letting me camp out with you all in your new humble abode.

Also I very much want to thank the people at Petty Paintball for leting AO invade their awesome feilds, simply the sweetest sup air feild out there.

also I have to give a shout out to the 1 shot guys for adding to the chaos that was Ao-Austin... the Go-Carts were simply classic

For the camera ppls out there that sacrificed play time to snap and tape this for the enjoyment of others... The fruits from your sacrifice and paint magnetisim are going to be worth it!

For all of you that showed and made this possible I thank you. who other than Automags.org can rally up 5 states of ULTIMATE professionals and have some of the greatest sup air action ever

Oh and thanks to all the significant others that let our beloved Ao-ers out for the weekend to attend this! Without their support we sould of been alone out there.

Yes, that picture of CatoDave and I ROCKS!!!! We are going to print it in poster size and hang it on our ceilings. And make like 100's of them in poster size...with our info on the back...and hand out posters as business cards...to the ladies. Nice picture, thanks for being right there!!!!

Edweird, I thought you would beat us home. 7 Hour trip took us 10 hours. Traffic was horrible from Austin to Dallas...pictures coming soon. It was nice to meet you, man-we thought we would have driven the farthest.

It was crazy, tho... 20 vs 20 on a huge airball field...:eek: I think there was once during that whole day that it even crossed my mind that there were other fields besides the airfield... Suffice to say, we were greatly satisfied with the playing conditions.
