How do I get rid of my "other" desktop?

For example, when I boot up, it load some desktop my brother put on that I don't like (Some guy waterskiiing off a F-16, and its a crappy photoshop job too). I changed it. But when I boot up, it always loads his first. And sometimes when I click "Show Desktop" button it will flash his desktop for a second.

Anyone know how I get rid of this?

Try disabling Active Desktop

It has something to do with the active desktop settings. The pic you have on your desktop now is likely a jpeg, and the other is likely a bmp (or vice versa). The best way to get rid of that picture (especially if you don't like it) is just delete it. It should be with all your other desktop images. It may be referred to as "Internet Explorer Wallpaper" or something like that. just look for it.
