But eat the classic backward style. My kids don't understand how I do it.. but it is actually pretty natural putting the fork in your left hand and knife in your right.. and LEAVING them there the whole meal.

Switching back and forth is just wasted movements... and that means less eating. LOL

I am a good shot with a rifle, but I tend to gravitate to sidearms for that reason. I am equally good with either hand shooting though.

I watch my son shoot and he tends to close his left eye (he is right handed, and I am still trying to break him of that habit), so..... I just got him out of bed (evil aren't I?) and tested to see if he was right handed, left eye dominant........

Hey TamaPlayer, I have been playing for now 2 years about, I love drums, esp. a piccoloe snare, I dont think I spelled that right tho http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif What kind of snare do u have?

If your a righty and left eye dom. or vise versa, wear a eye patch for about 2 weeks over your off eye, your other eye will get used to doing the work, and take over, and should be the dominant.

automagseeker, dunno what kind of snare I have, the one that came with my set. I'm thinking about getting a new one before long. have'nt decided on one to get yet.

I'm also mainly right handed, left eye dominant w/ slight amibidexterity. I used to shoot right handed and was pretty decent. then I tried shooting lefty and it came much more natural to me. Partly because when I shoot lefty my dominat arm is holding the gun steady. It works out nicely I think. I also hold the knife in my right hand and the fork in my left. Steak just tastes too good to do it any other way http://www.automags.org/ubb/smile.gif

Im a drummer my self. I was saving up to by the the ulrich snare...then i saw my gun and it needed a few upgrades, so im still stuck with the snare i got when i first got the set. I have a Tama Starclassic Performer. ive been playing for a few years.

I play alot of jazz, somewhat punk, at least I try to anyways, and some alternative, rock etc. I try to do 311's Chad Sexton'sbeats but man they are hard! what about you what style do you play?

Yup, that will work. I never had a problem with it. I knew my body and adjusted to it.

I did some practices where I would look at a target and switch my focusing eye without holding the weapon or squinting either eye. This can get tiring, but worked great since in the real world you can not walk around with a patch on your eye or blackened glasses. http://www.automags.org/ubb/wink.gif
