Working on getting this made, what do you all think? (note that the picture is photoshopped, when the final thing is done the grips and battery will be as shiney as the rail.)

Oh yea, and it will be aluminum and fully annodizable

It wuold look cool but I don't think that it would be very comfortable.

As long as the price was not too high, I'd take a battery case and grips like that. Cool.

Super sweet!

I've actually had very similar thoughts but I don't got the talent to photoshop it :)

I think that looks really bad-***. Do it man!

Well, To be honest I barely touch the grip panels anyway so it wouldn't be any kind of uncomfortable thing for me personally...but the stuff is pretty smooth, the "diamond" tread parts on it aren't sharp or anything.

The edges will be rounded and I plan on getting some sort of padding so it won't scratch your gripframe.

As far as the battery pack that might take me a bit to work everything out on it....but I should have the grip panels finished in a week and a half for pictures.

if you managed to get a dimond plate body rail, and rise (for ule body) it would flow better.

Am I the only person who opened this thread expecting to see jewels glued all over a marker? ;)

Looks nice :)

It has potential, but I would think a simulated diamond plate would be better. I think you will have a VERY hard time making a smooth transition around the battery pack, and the window for the grips is going to be tough. Also you will want to actually put in a plastic window of some sort, if not the actual e-mag grip window. I would think standard diamond plate would not be very good for this.

I think the “look” could be very attractive, but pulling it off without looking ghetto with real diamond plate will be the hard part… if possible at all.

I look forward to seeing what you end up with.

REDNECKS have old rusty red toolboxes, not shiny diamond plate ones.

CONTRACTORS have diamond plate...

if youre gonna go through all that trouble to get the battery pack and grip done, why not do the whole damn thing?

I don't like it. . . but that's just my taste . . . the grip looks finw but the battery pack looks strange. like it doesn't fit.

Yeah, The coarse diamond to black anno look is kinda jumpy. It needs to be smoothed out.

Its strange I like it but it also has a badass look to it. Very stange.

No I did aswell, but then "we" don't call it Diamond Plating. I quite like the idea and will have a bash at doing it....but with ally kick plate not steel (Diamond Plate) just got to work out how to do the window and secure the window
