I currently own a RT PRO and was wondering if playing in tournys, is there any pro's to going with a better marker. Don't really care about weight or looks. Just wanted to know what reasons there would be to get a better marker. Thanks

The new RT Pros come with ULE Body, ULE Trigger, X-Valve w/ Level 10, Intelliframe...awesome gun.

Tourney paintball is becoming more and more about volume of paint...it seems ROF is everything. The RT Pro can definately keep up with (if not destroy) any other mechanical marker out there, but the electros will certainly have an edge when it comes to ROF. I wouldn't have any problem taking an RT Pro onto a tourney field...

No not as a standard thing as of yet. A few did come out as special orders but no its not a regular thing at this point.

An Emag would be easier to shoot fast. I'd take an RT Pro into tournies though. I used my classic mag in a bunch and did fine. If you already have a good tank, hopper, and pack, and can afford an electro then go for it. But if buying one will prevent you from playing as much, then I say save your money and play with the RTP some more.

You also probably live within 15 minutes of my house. :)

Ityl - Do you play anywhere locally? Always looking for more people to play with.

I love seeing all these mags in the Buffalo area! We need more!

Yes Indeedy, I can confirm that RT-Pros will rock the tourny seen! Heh. Many people prefer the electronic trigger, I love em to death, but my RTPX is lined up perfectly with competition. ROF is pretty much king nowadays and believe me, the RT-Pro will do just fine, and if ya really want insane speed just go with the E-Mag.
