I'm lookin for a new drop, I'm not feeling the Kapp DZ3 that I have.. Anyone have any luck with these? Basically I'm looking for it to come a little behind the Foregrip around the trigger...(Reg/on/off around the trigger area. I'm running a 68/3000 so the bottle isn't that big.. Any other suggestions?

I thought I'll save a thread since I have the same question:p

I am thinking about the System-x xtreme cradle/drop for my X-mag. I think the X from system-x goes nicely with my Xmag. Anyone have any experience with the cradle/drop and on/off.

I fourth the motion on the shocktech.
except i would get a kapp on/off with a shocktech medium or long. But the shocktech on/off is good too.

I run a System-X on my mag and it works fine. The on/off is easy to turn and doesn't foul the battery too much when you need to remove it. My only gripe is that it doesn't feel particuarly sturdy - but it's fairly cheap to buy and it works. :)

Gadget, is your drop the regular one or the xtreme aka. x-10 verions? I want my drop as far forward as possible but don't want to hit the battery on my mag. Also, I read somewhere that there is problem with the tank not able to screw in all the way thus causing a leak. The solution to that was to fill down the pin. You experienced this problem??? Thanks again for the PIC.

"dead on" also makes a short version of that drop which can be found at www.countypaintball.com

i'm looking into buying it... only downside is that you cant unscrew your tank.. not that it matters because it has on/off

I have the dead on, actually the new one with the bleed valve. Th e bleed valve works great and the tank is very nicely balanced if you want it forward. Certain tanks may or may not fit depending on the reg and the guage.

My friend has that exact dead on drop... color and everything :)

Its perfect for him, but he has a 88ci PE tank, and its a really compact setup

Thats the old system-X. I had one, and it leaked like crazy. I went back to the store and they gave me a new one. Didnt leak one bit, works great.

The newere model has a larger knob at the front.

It's the regular one. Had no problem with the pin - I run a PMI Pure energy 4500 reg and it screws all the way in without fouling on anything.

I use a Dead On Bullet drop on my RTPX and it works great. With a mag it puts the tank right at your shoulder, keeps ya tight, and looks pretty "snazzy". The on/off is a plus, getting the hang of letting it bleed then shutting it off took a bit, otherwise youll have too much pressure on the pin and WHABAM theres goes your cap flying across the parking lot. ( I speak from experience. heh. :D )
