Hey guys, i finally got my halo in (thanks alot phil!!!!!!!) and now i need a step by step how to cut the blue feed neck, and where, so that i can do the slip over hoseclamp mod.

If one of you would be so kind as to write a step by step on how to do it, and also take a few pics (if possible) to help the mechanically impaired, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks alot guys!

why not just buy a slide over feed port like the checkit? then you wont have to worry about messing up your halo.

besides hose clamps look so ghetto on a $1000+ gun

because that is extra height i dont want? i have one and it is hideous? because halo's feed faster with the least amount of ball stack?

thats why !!!:)

guess your stuff got there today then? Same on this end.

I fear even attempting to tell you this one. I have never done it. I have examined one that was but have no idea what he used.

Ask Load what he did. Or check with Kayle too. They might be more help.

hehe...

Like those do ya? Those are absorbent mats but I find them real good to lay down on a table to work on Markers. Keep em. They come in handy.

I was running out of bubble wrap when I packed that.

M'kay,

Take the shell off and measure the height of the SFL feedneck.

Cut slightly less that that off the blue feedneck core of the HALO. I say slightly less because when you sand it all smooth and clean up the cut, it'll take off more material.

Put the HALO back together. Rocket science, eh?

You can also sand down the inside of your feedneck a bit to get rid of the lip. (See pic) But that's optional.
