I got this gun used about 3 years ago from my dad's friend.
One side reads "STORM" and then on the other side it says "Pneumatic Designshttp://groups.msn.com/MarciasFlower/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=118 http://groups.msn.com/MarciasFlower/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=116 http://groups.msn.com/MarciasFlower/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=115

Damn, that's a crazy looking marker.. I havnt seen anything like it. [but that's not saying too much.]

From what i've gathered it that is the only marker that company produced. It came out arround 1995. The company was Pneumatic Design.

I got the picture from paintballmuseum.com

--[edit]--

Oooh. Aparently it was sold over to "Master Engineering Corporation" and is now called "The Master"

that is as you said a pnumatic design storm

it was made around 1992+-

before that it was prduced by sumo marketers

and it is still availible through PEC it is now called the master

I have one of the first storms, alot of people didn't like them but I had great luck with mine, as a matter of fact after over 10 years of use and over 250,000 rounds of paint it still works and the only thing i ever had to do was an o ring kit.

these guns didn't seem to mind liquid c02 at all I used to use a 20 oz siphon tank on it and it shot fine

one thing is the barrel is quite possible the worst I have ever seen just run your finger inside it and feel the seam and you will know why I say this :)

It was also REALY REALY expensive I have my recipt for mine and it cost me $439.50 for the marker and a 7oz tank

I know all about that

Damn you magmonkey :) I wanted to feel smart tonight
Before I knew anything about paintball, I was going to buy the last PEC masters through viper... but then I researched it a bit ( and realized my actual budjet :))

PEC stopped making them a while ago, they looked a little more improved than the storm. I have never actually seen the storm until right now

<img src="http://markertech.freeservers.com/gmaster.jpg"> yay, thats still an earlier model though, they had one more upgrade to the line before they went out of buisness

Thanks for the information guys. I'd really like to get this gun up and running (seeing as how it was my first marker), but no matter how much teflon tape I put around the screws, it leaks.

Also, this gun has a nice kickback, and does anyone know how much it originally sold for?

They didnt sell for anything, the Empire handed them out for free to storm troopers. :p Anyway, the MSRP I think was like 280 or something like that...I dunno...280 for a marker that looks like a spyder classic, sad days I say.
