I've seen pics of e mags and such with a guage mounted on the side of the valve. How easy is this to do, and what max pressure guage is reccomended?

you have? i cant see how this is possible unless there mag was tapped on both sides, wich i dont think many, if any of those valves exist, in any case, it would be near impossible for you to mount a gague on the valve

....or the guy just super glued the gauge to the side to make it look "cool".

Are you sure you weren't looking at an older RT with the banjo bolt? The through the rail air design allowed you to mount a gauge on the rail for input pressure ( I think )

With a simple T fitting you can add a gauge to anything...
