Where in Canada are you from? There are lots of AGD dealers in Canada. I purchase from a local store in Sask, but I know he sends stuff all over Canada.

At the beer store, eh!

sure you can't see what you are buying.. but just tell the guy with the microphone what you want and they will send it down a conveyor belt.

lol.. weirdest thing when i visited Canada.. they send beer down a belt to you.. you cant carry it to the counter.

The trick is to ask AGD to mail it to you using the US Postal Service. No brokerage that way. Only the taxes on the insured amount. That you can't avoid. But then again it will be the same tax that you would pay in a local store.

I buy direct this way all the time without any problems (or brokerage fees).

edit: Oh and there is no duty on paintball gear.

You shouldn't pay Duty as it's made in the USA. Free trade an all. Taxes are unavoidable and Brokerage depends on how it's shipped.

Here are the Canadian Dealers I know that deal with AGD direct:

Alter Ego Sports - http://www.alterego-sports.com

Unlikley Heros - http://www.unlikelyheroes.ca/

mrhooie - Splat E. - http://www.buysplat.com/

And my sponsor:

SMT Adventures - http://www.smtpaintball.com

Yeah, I order from AGD personally .. and I definatly learned the hard way to ask for it shipped USPostal when I tried getting my AirAmerica Tank worked on by shipping it to the factory.

Lucky for me UPS (united parcel service) decided that warrenty work was 'iffy' on brokerage and removed the charges.

The only AGD product I've ever bought that wasn't used is the Y-grip, which is why I ordered from AGD.

Brokerage, duty, etc isn't that bad when you use USPS instead of UPS.

WAIT A SECOND WAIT A SECOND WAIT A SECOND! OK...gotta calm down now. Before I answer any questions I have one of my own. What in the name of Sampson is Canada? ...I know below us we got Mexico. And I know ABOVE us we have America Junior. So where, I ask does "Canada" exist. Heh. Anyway, I have heard and been told like everyone is saying that you should contact Airgun and tell them to ship it via Priority Mail..rather than the standard shipping service of say U.P.S. I think thats that...but then again I dont know where Canada is. :p

what do i tell them to do so its cheaper on my part
and are there any long distance charges as usual?

Dragoon

Yes it's a long distance phone call

Ask them to ship it using USPS (US Postal Service). In other words, by mail, not a courier. That way there isn't any extra charges other than PST ant GST that get added by Canada Post (no avoiding this one).

Hope this helps.
