I hiked for 3 weeks on the Appalachian Trail from Rt. 17 in Maine, to Mt. Washington in NH. We had quite a lot of mishaps. Someone was evac'd by helicopter the second day. Maybe you heard about it in the news (http://www4.fosters.com/News2003/June2003/June_27/News/reg_me0627e.asp) (it wasn't a school group, though, just a trip organized by a camp). One of my trip leaders was also hit by lightening. Both of them are ok, now. We were also a day short of food for the last week. Despite all that, it was great.
Anyway, I've been back on AO for 2 days, and was checking out what I missed. All I've found were Y Grips are out, and warp ULEs are coming very soon. Did I miss anything else? Oh yea, I leave tomorrow for counselor training for 4 weeks, so I'll need to be clued in again, later. Thanks.
