Ok today i was playing a good old father son game of golf. I got to thinking, back in the day golf balls used to have a smooth surface like paintballs, wich made them very unstable. When they finally came up with the idea to put divits into the ball it greatly improved the accrucy of the ball. Now my question is, why wouldnt there be divits in a paintball??? wouldnt this greatly improve the accrucy just like a golf ball when in flight??

just curious if anyone knows the true reason why or why not.

This is all being discussed in Deep Blue. Long story short typical paintball spin has little to do with paintball accuracy. The dimples made the accuracy worse. We tried all types of induced spins with no appreciable increase in accuracy.
